Over the course of 8 weeks, Marlborough Primary School had introduced workshops that were facilitated by me on a weekly basis, to pupils aged 7-11 years in the SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities) unit. The workshops were designed to create a safe space for students to explore their creativity. Students also experienced sensory activities to better understand and communicate their interests and needs.

Audio Track (Transcript in Soundcloud Description) with more information of the facilitation experience and audio description of the images provided, is available below:

"It is a pleasure for me to have Shan in the classroom. She has developed good relationships with both the children and the staff, and it is enjoyable to work with her. The children have become more independent when carrying out the activities."

- Jeannette West, 2019
